    So, ich habe die gute Nachricht für alle, die sich mit vollständigen Namen und Kabinennummer bei mir per PN gemeldet haben,
    AIDA stellt Sekt kalt und lädt ein:

    Uhrzeit: 11 Uhr


    Man fordert noch einmal eine aktualisierte Teilnehmerliste (vollständiger Namen und Kabinennummer) an,
    die werde ich morgen rübermailen.
    Damit schließe ich dann die Aktion "Offizielles AIDA-Fantreffen".


    Für das Treffen bereite ich Namensetiketten vor, die ich dann vorne am Eingang der Anytime-Bar ausgeben werde.

    wer fliegt mit uns,
    wer ist dabei?
    Wollen wir uns schon einmal auf einen kleinen Sekt dort treffen? :stossen:



    Ich kenn´mich nicht in Köln/Bonn aus, aber der Flughafen ist doch relativ klein und überschaubar
    und wir müssen doch alle am Lufthansa-Schalter einchecken ....
    oder wer hat eine bessere Idee
    oder wer kennt sich dort besser aus?

    wir haben am 28.02. und 29.02.2016 mit Manas Ajgaonkar in Mumbai einen Ausflug gebucht. Wer hat diesen Ausflug ebenfalls gebucht? Bitte sendet uns eine PN, damit wir uns gegebenenfalls bereits vorab auf dem Schiff verabreden können, um dann gemeinsam das Schiff zu verlassen. Damit würden wir uns die Wartezeit im Hafen bis zum Eintreffen des letzten Teilnehmers ersparen und hätten mehr Zeit für unseren Ausflug.

    Hallo zusammen,


    Wir möchten uns in Dubai ein 24h Ticket kaufen, dass wir dann gerne von 13 Uhr am Mittwoch bis 13 Uhr am Donnerstag nutzen würden.



    Wenn man das Ticket vorher über die Website bestellt, wird dann das Ticket an dem Tag ab 00:00 gewertet oder erst wenn man in den Bus einsteigt? Weiß das jemand? Oder wie läuft das vor Ort ab beim Ticketkauf?

    Die 2 Tage Dubai sind die letzten offenen Tage in unserer Planung.
    Die meisten Standard Sehenswürdigkeiten haben wir im letzten Jahr abgeklappert, von daher sind wir da etwas flexibler.
    Bei BBT sind deshalb der kostenlose Eintritt ins Atlantis Aquarium und die kostenlosen Dhau Fahrten interessant.
    Wir sind noch etwas am planen und berechnen der Kosten .. Mal sehen

    ich hab' gelesen, dass es für die moschee in muskat auch geschlossenes schuhwerk braucht, während die schuhe in abu dhabi ausgezogen werden - so wie ich das von moscheen auch kenne.

    Ausflug in Mumbai


    Ich habe heute mal kurzentschlossen bei Mumbi-magic nachgefragt und auch prompt folgende Antwort erhalten:

    This is a fun tour of Mumbai using local transport – our famous black
    and yellow taxis, red buses, and local trains.




    Your guides are a group of enthusiastic youngsters who will show you the city
    as they see it everyday – alive and vibrant, and constantly on the move. One or
    possibly two guides will be assigned to your tour.




    The tour starts at the Gateway of India and covers all the must-see places in
    Bombay. It includes the following:

    A walking exploration of the British Heritage District (30
    minutes). Covers Gateway of India, Regal Circle, Prince of Wales Museum, Kala
    Ghoda, Bombay University, High Court, Oval Maidan and Churchgate






    •




    A bus ride from Churchgate to Mani Bhavan, Gandhi's home
    in Mumbai. The bus goes via Marine Drive and Chowpatty, with views of the
    Arabian Sea.

    A brief stop for tea and snacks at the award-winning Swati
    Snacks, to sample Bombay's legendary fast food

    A walk through a Bhaji Gully to see a bustling local
    bazaar

    A train ride to see Dhobi Ghat (the city's unique open air
    laundry system)









    The tour ends with a taxi ride to Victoria Terminus, to see Bombay's landmark
    Gothic railway station. At VT, the guide will help you find transport to your
    hotel or to the airport.




    The idea behind the tour is for you to experience the city the way locals do,
    to see Mumbai from an insider’s perspective. However, for safety and
    convenience, we’ve picked off-peak hours for the train ride, and will travel in
    the opposite direction of the city’s rush-hour traffic.





    Plan and Costs



    For passengers arriving via ship, we offer Mumbai Local with pickup/drop
    from the docks.





    In the past we have had several no-shows from ship passengers because
    they have found it difficult to get to the start point of the tour (there are
    some not-so-nice taxis outside the docks that took them on a wild goose chase
    to shops). So now we make sure we pickup our customers from the docks. We will
    apply for dock passes for our representative a week before you arrive.





    The tour works like this:



    9:30 am – pickup at the docks, transfer to Gateway of India (Please
    place your bags in the car)



    10:00 to 2:00 – Mumbai Local tour



    2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. drop to ship





    The cost of the tour is Rs 5000 per person for 2 people

    The guides for the Mumbai Local tour are a group of youngsters, we run
    the tour in partnership with Akanksha Foundation, a non-profit that works in
    childrens’ education. As part of Mumbai Magic's social commitment, we have
    hired and trained 5 teenagers from Akanksha's education programs to be guides.
    A portion of this tour's proceeds go to Akanksha. Another portion goes to the
    guides, to help finance their college studies. This tour is part of an ongoing
    mentorship program that I run for young adults. The next stage in the program
    is office training, we teach computer skills etc as well. The idea is that if
    we upskill kids at the age of 16-20, then by the time they graduate, they are
    fit for more well-paying jobs thus raising their family income into a different
    league. You will enjoy meeting the guides, they are exceptional girls.

    The guides receive fees from us for the tour. Tipping is not essential
    but is usually the norm in India for good service received. If you are happy

    Das hört sich alles schon sehr interessant an. Mit einem deutschen Guide wäre es natürlich eingfacher, aber so wird das Schulenglisch mal wieder aus der Versenkung geholt. Vielleicht hat von euch ja noch jemand nichts konkretes in Mumbai vor und deshalt Lust, sich uns anzuschließen. Über euer Interesse würden wir uns freuen
