Das mache ich tatsächlich immer, weil ich sonst das Light Paket buche. Zuletzt lag der Unterschied bei einer Reise zwischen Light Paket und AI bei 5 Euro pro Tag. Da habe ich dann nicht lang überlegt 😅 die Differenz ist für mich ausschlaggebend, ob ich AI buche oder nicht.

Falls jemand mit dem Mietwagen zum Canyon möchte, leite ich mal folgende Info von „Visit Alta“ weiter:

„The road to the photospot is closed for general passage between 30^th of September and 1^st of December, so if you want to see the Canyon I recommend you to join the organized tour from AIDA. Boreal Adventure, who is reponsible for the tour, has license to use the road between 30^th of September and 1^st of December. „

Ich habe mir bei den letzten Reisen auch keine Etagere mehr bestellt. Da ich allein unterwegs bin, ist das einfach zu viel, was da an Aufschnitt serviert wird. Nur den Obstteller habe ich bestellt.

Die Meilen für die Reise siehst du erst nach der Reise. Also alles normal.

Es kommt vor, dass Firmen die Schiffe chartern für eigene Reisen. Da gibt’s dann keine Seemeilen.

Auf meinen letzten Reisen (Bella/Luna) wurden im Buffalo keine Brötchen mehr gebracht. Die holte man sich selbst.

Ist das im Frühstück im Rossini dann anders als im Buffalo?

Meine Schwester war gerade auf der Nova (Comedy Cruise). Zu zweit haben sie jeden Abend ohne vorab zu reservieren einen Tisch im Bedienrestaurant Oceans, French Kiss und Casa Nova bekommen. Auch ohne Wartezeit.

Bei meiner Asien-Reise war das Frühstück vor der Reise gar nicht buchbar. An Bord ging es dann über das Bordportal.

Weiß jemand, wo genau AIDA den Fotostopp am Sautso Canyon macht (z.B. beim Ausflug ALF19/Sautso Canyon, Staudamm und Sami Camp)?

Hat jemand einen Tipp, wo man mit einem Mietwagen am besten hinfährt, wenn man zum Sautso Canyon möchte? Habe bei Google bisher nur Varianten mit einem langen Fußmarsch/Wanderung gefunden. AIDA fährt da ja auch hin zu einem Fotostopp - mehr möchte ich eigentlich auch nicht 😅

Naja, aber da der Anbieter das in der Hand hat, wann es wetterbedingt nichts bringt…gehe nicht davon aus, dass die das „voreilig“ bzw. leichtfertig stornieren. Aber unabhängig davon ein gutes Angebot.

Habe auf Grund der Tipps von Nordseefan und joachimmeertal bei Pæskatun angefragt für den 05.10.. Hier die Rückmeldung:

„In any case, a safari includes free lending of thermal clothing and tripod if needed. During the tour you will be served hot beverages, snacks and if hungry, also a light soup with bread. The guide will give camera help if needed, but will also take pictures of you that will be sent to your email address.

A safari can go in any direction from Alta, and one should be prepared for long drives. Most of the safaris though, are within half an hour from the centre. The aim is to find clear skies, and then wait. The Northern Lights can come early, or late, or not at all. And we never know if we will get a lot of colors, or lots of movement, or just a tiny green stripe over the skies. This is why it is so exciting.

We may cancel if the weather is too bad, but for the beginning of October this should not be a problem.

The price for a safari is currently NOK 1680.

Whenever one of the AIDA ships comes to Alta, we are expecting guests from these ships. So if one of the ships cancel we will know. If you have prepaid an excursion we will refund you. On the other hand, if the weather conditions are too bad that specific night and we cancel, we will refund you. No shows, or cancellation from your side after 1200 am on the day of the excursion, will not be refunded.“

Im Vergleich zu anderen Anbietern relativ günstig und es wird erstattet, wenn das Schiff nicht anlegt bzw. abgesagt und erstattet bei schlechtem Wetter.
