Fliegt ihr mit Sundair ab Frankfurt?

Unsere Flugzeiten stehen fest ..seit gestern abend in myaida zu sehen!! Und die sind gar nicht mal so schlecht . Morgens um 6 gehts los Richtung Teneriffa.

Wir sind auch dabei!!
Reisen zu viert ab Frankfurt und freuen uns schon sehr auf eine tolle Tour auf der schönen Aida Blu

das können wir sehr gerne machen!! Wir landen auch so um den Dreh, kommen von Frankfurt. Sollen wir uns nach der Passkontrolle treffen, ich glaube da haben wir schon die Koffer...tja und erkennen ...ich bin blond und habe kurze Haare und mein Freund ist groß & wir haben unsere AIDA-Kofferanhänger schon an den Koffern. Ich denke, da müssten wir uns erkennen, wenn wir nach der Kontrolle warten. Oder hat jemand einen anderen Vorschlag? Wieviele sind wir denn dann??

Also egal ob Manas in Mumbai oder Parveen in Mangalore....Wir treffen uns im Schiff vor dem Ausgang. Dieser ist ja vielleicht auch auf Deck 6

Die Bar auf Deck 3, am Ausgang/ Eingang...ist das nicht die Pier 3 Bar??

Ich habe soeben von Manas eine Antwort zu unserem Ausflug erhalten. Also wir treffen ihn um 9 Uhr im Hafenterminal und er hat ein Schild in der Hand mit Aufschrift "Gems of Mumbai". Zahlen können wir in Euro oder Dollar.
Ich schlage vor, dass wir uns bis spätestens 08.40 Uhr an der Pier 3 Bar treffen und dann gemeinsam vom Schiff gehen?

Karkala, Moodbidri, Local Bazaar and Farm Visit

In this tour we will go on a drive to Karkala and Moodabidri, two sleepy towns situated around an hour’s drive from Mangalore. The drive is
interesting once you leave the port behind, and you will see many coconut trees, arecanut trees, etc.
Between the 14th and 16th centuries, this area near Mangalore became a great centre of learning and pilgrimage for members of the ancient Jain
faith. In Karkala the giant statue of Gomateshwara attracts Jain pilgrims from far and wide. It is on top of a hill and provides
panoramic views of the countryside. In Moodabidri, we will visit the famous 1000-pillared Jain Temple dedicated to Chandranatha. This is the
largest Jain temple in coastal Karanataka, with richly carved pillars; and no two pillars in this temple are alike.
We will also visit the local bazaar at Moodbidri, which has visitors from the surrounding areas, buying fruits, vegetables, spices, clothes,
food items and other items of daily use. It is a nice way to see daily life in this part of the country.
This area of Mangalore is known for its pineapples and other tropical fruits. We will visit a working fruit farm with a bamboo grove. We will
walk through the farm, learn about the various spices, trees, fruits and other products grown at the farm. You can taste their famous pineapples
if you wish, and take a restroom break. They also offer spices for sale if you would like to buy some.
Plan for the day:
· Pickup from docks at 10:00 a.m.
· Transfer to Karkala 1hr 15 mins, drive to the top of the hill
to see the Jain Gomateshwara Statue and views of the green countryside
· 12:00 to 12:20 transfer to Soans Farm, visit the farm
· 1 pm transfer to 1000-pillar temple (15 minutes), visit the temple and the local market at Moodbidri
· 2:30 p.m. depart back to docks by 4:30 pm (you can bring sandwiches or snacks from the ship to eat on the ride back)
Notes: Please bring an extra pair of socks as shoes are not allowed in the temples, and the temple stone flooring can be hot in areas exposed
to the sun. September is the tail end of the monsoon season, so hot stone floors may not be a big problem for you. However it may rain
(although probably not much). Please wear sensible footwear accordingly.
An umbrella would be useful protection from both sun and rain. Soans Farm has clean toilets. Please bring packed sandwiches and snacks from
the ship to eat on the drive back.
Cost: The pricing is as follows:
Rs 13,500 using a Toyota Innova car (Max 4 Persons)
Rs 19,500 using Tempo Traveler (Max 8 persons)
Inclusions: English-speaking escort, AC transport, driver with cell
phone, fuel, parking charges, tolls, entrances, bottled water, all
taxes.
Excludes: Entrance ticket Rs 200 extra per person for Soans Farm, meals, insurance, tips.

sind eigentlich auch Karnevalisten unter Euch??
Wir sind ja über die "Feiertage" an Bord....vor zwei Jahren in der Karibik wurde richtig gefeiert, mit Elferrat, Umzug, Verkleiden...also alles was dazu gehört.
Hoffe das es auf der Aura auch so ist

Hey Ihr Aidacruiser....eigentlich müsste doch heute die Zuteilung der Kabinen erfolgen ...ich warte schon ganz gespannt, aber bisher ist noch nix passiert. Hat von Euch schon jemand die Zuteilung erhalten?

Hallo Christel,

die Tour mit Manas dauert ca. 6 bis 7 Stunden. Unsere Anzahlung hat auch problemlos funktoniert.

Für Dubai und Abu Dhabi empfehle ich, sich ein Taxi zu nehmen und die Sehenswüdigkeiten abzufahren. Ist in beiden Städten problemlos machbar...oft finden sich an Bord oder am Taxistand auch Gäste, die das gleiche Ziel haben und man teilt sich spontan ein Taxi. Falls ihr ins Burj al Arab möchtet (z.B. zur Tea Time) müsst Ihr das vorab reservieren und dann kommt man auch ins Hotel rein, ebenso würde ich für den Burj Khalifa die Tickets vorab im Internet reservieren, ist viel günstiger als vor Ort.

Unsere Visa habe ich jetzt auch in den Händen ...hat alles problemlos funktioniert.
