Wir sind 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder (wobei wir aber nur 3 Sitzplätze im Fahrzeug benötigen würden)
Ich weiß nicht, ob es erlaubt ist, das Kind auf den Schooß zu nehmen, Kindersitze wird es wohl kaum geben
Also theoretisch wäre der Bus voll - praktisch gibt es noch einen freien Platz?!

ich habe mal für einen Ausflug in Mangalore angefragt und folgende Antwort bekommen. Hat jemand Interesse!?
Wir würden die erste Tour bevorzugen..... Vielleicht bekommen wir ja auch hier 8 Personen zusammen 
MANGALORE MAGICSHIP: AIDAauraShip arrival/departure time: Arrives at 0900 hrs on 2 March (Wednesday)Departing Mangalore same day at 7 pmHow the tour is run: Mangalore is a small port town, and there isn’t a bigEnglish-speaking tourism industry there. Full time professional guides arenot available in this town. What we provide are trained English-speakingescorts for the tour, along with car and driver and a tour itinerary ofplaces to visit which we have checked out and visited and think you willfind interesting.
OPTION I-Karkala, Moodbidri, Local Bazaar and Farm Visit In this tour we will go on a drive to Karkala and Moodabidri, two sleepytowns situated around an hour’s drive from Mangalore. The drive isinteresting once you leave the port behind, and you will see many coconuttrees, arecanut trees, etc.Between the 14th and 16th centuries, this area near Mangalore became a greatcentre of learning and pilgrimage for members of the ancient Jain faith.
InKarkala the giant statue of Gomateshwara attracts Jain pilgrims from far andwide. It is on top of a hill and provides panoramic views of thecountryside. In Moodabidri, we will visit the famous 1000-pillared JainTemple dedicated to Chandranatha. This is the largest Jain temple in coastalKaranataka, with richly carved pillars; and no two pillars in this templeare alike.
We will also visit the local bazaar at Moodbidri, which has visitors fromthe surrounding areas, buying fruits, vegetables, spices, clothes, fooditems and other items of daily use. It is a nice way to see daily life inthis part of the country.
This area of Mangalore is known for its pineapples and other tropicalfruits. We will visit a working fruit farm with a bamboo grove. We will walkthrough the farm, learn about the various spices, trees, fruits and otherproducts grown at the farm. You can taste their famous pineapples if youwish, and take a restroom break.
They also offer spices for sale if youwould like to buy some.
Plan for the day:
* Pickup from docks at 10:00 a.m.
* Transfer to Karkala 1hr 15 mins, drive to the top of the hill to seethe Jain Gomateshwara Statue and views of the green countryside * 12:00 to 12:20 transfer to Soans Farm, visit the farm
* 1 pm transfer to 1000-pillar temple (15 minutes), visit the templeand the local market at Moodbidri
* 2:30 p.m. depart back to docks by 4:30 pm (you can bring sandwichesor snacks from the ship to eat on the ride back)
Notes: Please bring an extra pair of socks as shoes are not allowed in thetemples, and the temple stone flooring can be hot in areas exposed to thesun.
September is the tail end of the monsoon season, so hot stone floorsmay not be a big problem for you. However it may rain (although probably notmuch). Please wear sensible footwear accordingly. An umbrella would beuseful protection from both sun and rain. Soans Farm has clean toilets.Please bring packed sandwiches and snacks from the ship to eat on the driveback.

.OPTION - II Mangalore City Exploration We will begin with a visit to Kadri Manjunatha Temple, which is more than1000 years old. This temple, built in the 10th / 11th century, has severalsacred bathing tanks which people visit before praying. You can see theMangalore-style tiled roofs and courtyards for an understanding oftraditional temple architecture of the area.
Next, we will visit a grand modern temple in Kudroli dedicated toGokarnatha, founded by the great social reformer Sri Narayana Guru, whorejected caste-based differences promoted the idea that all people are equalbefore God.
The temple complex is large, showing diverse influences, withmany interesting legends displayed. It includes a marriage hall.
After visiting these two temples, we will drive through the city centre,seeing the streets and daily life in the city. Our next stop is the CentralMarket wholesale bazaar, where agricultural produce (fruits and vegetables)from the surrounding countryside is brought each day for sale.
>From the market, we will go to Saint Aloysius Chapel, which remains eventoday, a unique case of Italian art in India. Built by the Jesuits in 1890,the chapel was painted by the Italian Jesuit Antonio Moscheni, and attractsthousands of visitors every year. For lunch we will visit a specialty restaurant to taste the famous Mangalorecuisine (you can have either seafood or meat-based or vegetarian lunch,depending on your preference). India is one of theleading producers, processors and exporters of cashews in the world,accounting for 65% of the world’s exports

* 2:00 to 3:00 Lunch at a specialty restaurant to taste the famousMangalore cuisine (you can have either seafood or meat-based or vegetarianlunch, depending on your preference)
* 3:00 to 4:00 - transfer to Cashew processing factory (30 mins), andtour of the cashew processing (30 mins)
* Drop to docks by 4:30 p.m.

wir haben schon vorab über Paypal bezahlt, das hat alles super geklappt.
Abu Dhabi und Dubai könnt ihr auch problemlos alleine machen, dafür benötigt man nicht unbedint einen Guide 
Wir sind auch schon einmal mit dem frühen Flieger gelandet, und waren um 9 Uhr auf dem Schiff. Wir konnten um 11 Uhr auf die Kabine und sind dann direkt los.
Abends noch Seenotrettungsübung und Welcome - Party - danach waren wir sowas von tot...... aber machbar auf jeden Fall.

Auf der Seite der Botschaft steht, ein Visumsantrag wäre erst 2 Monate vorher möglich.
Ich habe es natürlich trotzdem versucht und komme aber auch direkt nicht weiter....
Manas habe ich jetzt noch einmal angeschrieben. Vielleicht ist er im Streß, weil gerade alle Ihre Ausflüge anmelden

Also unsere Tochter ist schon erwachsen - wir sind raus ...
Ja, das Angebot war schon im Juli. Die Flüge sind schon einige Zeit bei My AIDA zu sehen - ist wahrscheinlich auch ein Standardflug - ab Hamburg fliegen sie ja 2 x tgl. nach Dubai.
Beim ersten Mal haben wir individuell gebucht, der Unterschied war aber nicht so riesig. Die Flüge wurden teurer, je länger wir gewartet haben. Ich glaube letztlich haben wir damals 650 Euro/ p.P bezahlt.

Hi, also wir haben die Reise mit Flügen gebucht - war ein Just Angebot. Wir fliegen abends ab Hamburg mit Emirates - den gleichen Flug hatten wir vor einigen Jahren schon einmal - hätte schlechter kommen können
na da kommt ja doch noch Leben in die Bude
