es gibt neue Infos von Cochinmagic.

Die Tour ist in englischer Sprache - ist das für alle ok? (der deutschsprachige Guide ist schon mit der anderen Gruppe aus dem Forum unterwegs :-))

Ich benötige von Euch die vollständigen Namen und eMail-Adresse (bitte per PN), diese muss ich an Ms. Deepa / Cochinmagic mailen.
Wenn Ihr möchtet, kann ich die Anzahlung auch für alle überweisen, ich sende Euch den Beleg, dann könnt ihr mir das Geld überweisen, ok?

ALLEPEY HOUSEBOAT CRUISE + FORT KOCHI

Tour Description: This tour allows you to not only explore Fort Kochi, but also the surrounding areas. In this tour, we start with a tour of Cochin, and then drive to Allepey where we hire a private kettuvallam (traditional houseboat) and go for a cruise. This tour allows you to see rural Kerala and the famous backwaters of Allepey.

Cochin (Kochi) was the centre of Indian spice trade for many centuries, and was known to the Greeks as well as Romans, Jews, Arabs, and Chinese since ancient times. The port of Cochin rose into prominence in the mid-1300’s, when the nearby large port of Cranganore was flooded. The Portuguese arrived in 1500 AD, followed by Saint Francis Xavier, who opened a Christian mission in 1530. The Dutch overthrew the Portuguese in 1663, and eventually ceded Cochin to the British in 1814. In 1947, when India gained independence from the British, Kochi joined the Indian Union. Cochin’s population reflects its diverse history, and is a mix of Hindus, Christians, Muslims and Jews. During the tour, we will visit Fort Kochi, the old quarter of Cochin, and explore the quaint streets of this city on foot. We will also see Cochin's trademark Chinese fishing nets.

Kerala's network of navigable backwaters stretches to cover a thousand kilometers. These serene waterways are fringed by palm grove and paddy fields and offer a striking spectacle of rustic life. Allepey is among the few places in the world where farming is done below sea-level, using a system of dykes. The backwaters act as a vital waterway for the transport of goods, people and their produce are often the only link between isolated villages and crowded towns.

Program
8:30 a.m. Pickup from docks, drive 20-30 mins to Fort Kochi
9:00 to 10:00 – sightseeing tour of Fort Kochi
10:00 to 11:30 – drive to Alleppey, on the way, see the beautiful Kerala countryside, villages, farms etc
11:30 to 2:30 – traditional houseboat cruise with lunch cooked and served on board
2:30 to 4:00 or 4:30 p.m. – drive back to ship (depends on traffic)
If you want to come back sooner then we can shorten the cruise, or we can drop Fort Kochi. There is no change in the price.
We can take 16 people on this tour.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION TERMS:
For the houseboat cruise, we need 50% of the total amount 30 days prior to the tour, and it is non-refundable (because the houseboats and other third parties don’t refund money once they are paid). The balance can be paid on the day of the tour in cash (Indian rupees, you can change currency in India).
You can find more people to join the tour by posting on the ship roll calls or forums.

wir sind auch gerade am recherchieren wegen Goa und haben zwei Anbieter angeschrieben und eine private Jeep-Tour zu den Wasserfällen angefragt.
(gerne schon vom Hafen mit dem Jeep und nicht erst mit dem Bus fahren ;-))

Eine Frage an Alle, die die Transasien schon einmal gemacht haben:

Lt. Reiseplan in My Aida sind wir am 13. April im Suez-Kanal. Abends um 22 Uhr steht Abfahrt drin?
Was hat das zu bedeuten?
Ich hoffe doch sehr, dass wir nicht in der Nacht durch den Kanal fahren.

Am 14. April sind wir bereits um 13 Uhr auf Zypern, daher hatte ich gehofft, dass wir am 13. den ganzen Tag im Suez-Kanal sind

Für Ausflüge mit Kreuzfahrt-Gästen gibt es eine speziell zugeschnittene Tagestour.
Weiter unten möchte ich Ihnen eine Route vorstellen, die einen guten Gesamteindruck von Lanzarote widerspiegelt.
Zwischendurch besteht immer die Möglichkeit an einem netten Ort einzukehren oder den Witterungsverhältnissen die Tour anzupassen.

Eine schöne Inseltour wäre:

09.30 Uhr von Arrecife-Hafen aus zum Jameos del Agua. Geöffnet ab 10.00 Uhr
Fahrtzeit ca. 30 min., Aufenthalt ca. 1 Stunde. Gesamt: ca. 1 Stunde 30 min.

Richtung Norden über Orzola zum Mirador del Río (Aussicht auf die Insel La Graciosa).
Fahrtzeit ca. 20 min., Aufenthalt ca. 40 min. Gesamt: ca. 1 Stunde.

Über Maguez, Haría (das Tal der tausend Palmen) fahren wir durch das Temisa Tal zum Kaktusgarten (Jardín de Cactus) in Guatiza.
Fahrtzeit ca. 30 min., Aufenthalt ca. 1 Stunde. Gesamt: ca. 1 Stunde 30 min.

Weiter geht es nach Tahíche zur Fundación César Manrique.
Fahrtzeit ca. 15 min., Aufenthalt ca. 45 min. Gesamt: ca. 1 Stunde.

Von der Fundación César Manrique aus fahren wir zum Nationalpark Timanfaya (Feuerberge - Montañas del Fuego).
Fahrtzeit ca. 30 min., Aufenthalt ca. 1 Stunde 15 min.. Gesamt: ca. 1 Stunde 45 min..

Zurück durch das Weinanbaugebiet La Geria, San Bartolomé zum Arrecife-Hafen - Ankunft ca. 17.00 Uhr.
Fahrtzeit ca. 45 min. Gesamt: ca. 45 min.

Für diese Inseltour ab Arrecife-Hafen sollten Sie ca. 7,5 Stunden einplanen.
Der Ausflug kann vom Inhalt individuell nach Ihren Wünschen gestaltet werden.
Sie können spontan entscheiden, ob Sie zwischendurch einkehren möchten, die Fahrroute ändern, oder vielleicht auch Ihre Füße kurz im Atlantik baden möchten.
Die Fahrrouten sind nicht immer der direkte Weg, sondern sind so gewählt, daß Sie einen Gesamteindruck von der Insel bekommen.
