ich habe jetzt eine Gruppe von 12 Personen für den Ausflug von Mumbai Magic am 1. Tag angemeldet und heute eine Bestätigung von Gaurav erhalten (s.u.)

The tour is fully refundable if you cancel with 48 hours notice. If you cancel
with less than 48 hours notice, we will retain 50% of the tour fee. We reserve

control that may interrupt or cancel any tour. However, if we cancel a tour, we
will give you a full refund.

Tour Notes: Please ensure you have sun protection and are adequately

Women are advised to dress modestly (no spaghetti tops, halter-necks,
miniskirts, hot pants etc). Regular jeans, skirts, t-shirts, blouses etc are

What this tour is
about:This is
a relaxed day out at a local spice plantation, with an opportunity for both
children and adults to interact with elephants. In this
tour, we will pick you up from the docks and take you to visit a spice
plantation in Ponda (about 30kms south-east of Panjim).

The various spices grown here include Black pepper Cardamom, Nutmeg, Vanilla,
Cinnamon, Cloves, Chillies, Coriander, etc. The staff at the plantation will
take you around and give you an introduction to these various spices. You will
also see Goa's typical tropical trees like Cashew, Areca nut (Betel nut) and
palm trees. Tropical Fruit like Star fruit, Jack Fruit, Custard Apple, Bananas,
Papayas, Pineapple and Citrus Fruits are also seen. Various local birds are
also sighted at the plantation.The plantation also offers elephant rides and
elephant bathing. They also serve a traditional Goan lunch in their open area
restaurant This area of Goa also has many temples, so if you are interested you
can visit the Mangeshi Temple (please dress modestly for temple visits).

How it works:Full day tour, starting and ending from the

After breakfast leave ship at 8:30 a.m.

Drive 1 hr 15 mins to spice plantation

1 hr plantation tour and elephant ride (if available on that day)

Post lunch visit temple in village based on your interests and available time

What this tour is about: This is a tour of Panjim (the current
capital of Goa), combined with a visit to ‘Velha Goa’ or Old Goa (the previous
capital). The tour covers some of the popular tourist must-see’s in Goa, including
a heritage walk in the interesting Latin quarter of Panjim. It also includes a
visit to a temple, as well as a vibrant and colorful traditional bazaar to
experience the bustle of daily life in Goa.

Background: Goa was among the most important centres of the ancient and
medieval world, trading in calico, spices, precious metals and many other
goods. It has been under various Hindu dynasties for most of its history, with
a brief period under Muslim rulers. When the Portuguese arrived in Goa, it was
under the Muslim Bahmani empire. The Portuguese defeated the Bahmanis and
conquered Goa in 1510; thus beginning 450 years of Christian rule. This rule
ended when in 1961, the Indian army marched into Goa, and overthrew the
Portuguese. These historical events have left their mark on Goa, influencing
not only religion and architecture, but also the language, dress, cuisine and
lifestyle of Goans. On this tour, you will see not only Goa’s interesting
monuments, but also its diverse cultures.

What the tour covers:

A drive to the top of
a hill for a panoramic view of Goa. Here, our guide will show you the layout of
the land, highlighting the rivers, islands, transport systems, and providing an
overview of life in Goa.

churches of Old Goa, the “Rome of the East”, which was the administrative seat
of the Portuguese. We will visit Se Cathedral (the seat of theArchbishop of
Goa), and the Basilica of Bom Jesus which contains the body of Saint Francis
Xavier, the Jesuit missionary who was canonised in 1622.

through the heritage district of Fontainhas – this is a residential area, the

Panjim’s popular restaurants to taste the famous Goan seafood. Goa’s
cuisine is a unique blend of local and Portuguese influences, and Goan
specialties such as prawn balchao, pork vindaloo are loved by food aficionados around

Bazaar walk through
the bustling Panjim fish and vegetable market – this is a large colourful
market where you can see all sorts of interesting things on offer, including
household wares, spices, fish, meat, vegetables and many other goods. It’s a
great way to see daily life in Goa!+

A visit to a Hindu temple to see the local architectural styles
and prayer rituals. Hindus form the majority of the Goan population (around
70%), and the temple is a good way to see the “inner life” and rituals of this
community.

the day with a tour of Mangalore city, taking in the major city sights. We will
visit Kadri Manjunatha Temple, built in the 10th century. This is a Hindu
temple with several temple tanks which people visit before praying at the
temple. We will also visit the very popular Gokarnatheswara temple, founded by
the great social reformer Sri Narayana Guru, who promoted the idea that all
people are equal before God. We will drive through the city centre, seeing the
buildings and life in the city. We will also visit a popular local fish market
in Mangalore. It’s a great way to see daily life in Mangalore. After this, we
break for lunch at a popular restaurant. After lunch, we will go on a drive to

Ich habe jetzt Gaurav angeschrieben und für 14 Leute die Tour Mumbay by Day für den 2. Tag reserviert, damit wir den deutschen Guide bekommen. Ebenso für 12-14 Leute die Tour am 1. Tag. Dabei habe ich mich an die letzte Liste von Frank und Indra gehalten.

Wenn jemand auch mit einem englisch sprechenden Reiseleiter zurechtkommt, könnten wir ja evtl. 2 Gruppen aufmachen, falls es Probleme mit der Teilnehmerzahl gibt.

Wie gesagt, ich werde mich erst mal schlau machen und euch berichten. Damit auch alle die Möglichkeit haben, es sich zu überlegen, werde ich auf jeden Fall bis Ende des Monats warten, bevor ich dann etwas unternehmen werde. es ist ja nicht jeder jeden Tag hier unterwegs.

Kein Problem, ich würde das organisieren. Werde mich mal deepa erkundigen, wie es abläuft (Preisgestaltung, Anzahlung etc) und dann berichten. dabei werde ich auch gleich mal nach einem Abendprogramm für den 1. Tag fragen.

Vielleicht sollten wir dann bis Ende des Monats eine Liste erstellen, wer mit dabei wäre und ich würde dann die gemeinsame Anmeldung für alle übernehmen. - Nachnamen etc. auch gerne als PN -

ja, die Day Tour in Mumbai würden wir auch mitmachen. Habe in den Ausflugstipps gelesen, dass man ab 8 Leuten schon den besten Preis bekommt. Das schaffen wir doch oder ??? Wer wäre mit dabei ???

Für den ersten Abend suchen wir auch noch was. ich werde mal bei Mombaymagic fragen, was sie anbieten könnten, das sich nicht mit der "Day Tour" überschneidet. Bei AIDA gibt es ja noch keine Vorschläge für den 1. Tag.

MIST habe gerade aktuell unter myaida gelesen, dass die Flugzeiten erst ab 30. SEPTEMBER bekanntgegeben werden. Steht das bei euch auch ??? Bis gestern stand nämlich noch: 3 Monate vor Reisebeginn. (wir fliegen ab Düsseldorf)

Hat schon jemand einen konkreten Ausflug bei Mumbaimagic gebucht ??? Dann könnten wir bei der Buchung drauf hinweisen, dass wir zur "Gruppe" gehören.

Sie bieten ja spezielle Touren für Kreuzfahrer an. Wir würden uns für eine Mumbai by Day Tour interessieren. Da scheint man ja die wichtigsten Sachen zu sehen. Müßte dann aber am 2. Tag stattfinden, da wir ja erst gegen 12.00 h anlegen und es dann für einen Tagesausflug wohl etwas spät wäre. Da wir noch nie in Indien waren, sind wir aber total flexibel beim Programm.

Hallo Zusammen

da habe ich mal 1 Tag nicht geschaut und schon tut sich endlich mal was.....

wir wollten auch in Indien die Ausflüge mit Mumbai Magic machen und sind gerne bereit, uns anzuschließen, damit der Preis für alle günstiger wird.

Was macht ihr denn bei den anderen Stationen ?? Eigentlich wollen wir nur den Ausflug zu den Elefanten in Mormugao über AIDA machen und den Rest dann allein planen.

Wir wären auch beim offiziellen Fan Treffen dabei. Habe das selbst mal auf der aura bei unserer Karibik tour organisiert. Da waren wir über 40 Leute und es war ein sehr schönes Treffen einschließl. Gruppenfoto mit Capt. Cofalka und EM. Danke Regina schon mal für deine Bemühungen.

auch wir sind dabei - Claudia und Michael - wir haben heute beim Traumstart zugeschlagen und unseren Wunschtermin und unseren Wunschflughafen (Düsseldorf) bekommen. Was will man mehr ..

Wir freuen uns schon ganz toll auf diese super Tour und auf die aura, mit der wir vor 2 Jahren schon in der Karibik waren.

Bei uns hat es -Dank Reisebüro - super geklappt. Orient-Indien zum Wunschtermin mit Wunschflughafen zum Startpreis. Wir haben diese Reise seit einiger Zeit beobachtet, stand/und steht aber immer noch auf Premium.

Wir freuen uns einfach

wir haben die Tour voriges Jahr gemacht und es war toll. Es gibt keinen Einreisecheck, da man ja schon aus Amiland kommt. Wir hatten auch die Acadia Tours um 10.00 h gebucht und hatten reichlich Zeit zum Frühstück, dann haben wir gemütlich getendert und unsere vorbestellten Karten abgeholt (US 30,-/Kopf).

Der Bus war sehr bequem und die Tour dauerte ca. 3 Std.. der Fahrer gab viele Erklärungen (Achtung: in Englisch - aber sehr gut verständlich) Es gab einige Pausen an interessanten Plätzen. Alles very easy. Gegen 13.00 h waren wir zurück und konnten dann noch gemütlich durch den schönen kleinen Ort bummeln und ein leckeres Hummerbrötchen essen. Gegen 16.00 h haben wir uns auf den Rückweg zum Schiff gemacht.

Zu dem öffentlichen Bus in den Park kann ich dir leider nichts sagen, aber die Tour mit Acadia ist wirklich empfehlenswert

Heute werden die Koffer abgeholt, es geht also wirklich langsam los. Hoffentlich bleibt das Wetter einigermaßen. aber egal, hauptsache kein Regen !

Natürlich sind wir noch dabei !!! Das Wetter soll ja besser werden. Jetzt weiss ich nicht mehr, was ich einpacken soll. Am besten wohl Zwiebellook. am kommenden Mittwoch werden die Koffer abgeholt. Hoffentlich kommen sie auch an....

Ute: wir haben bestimmt die gebuchte Küchenführung, wenn ihr den Kochkurs habt.. dann probieren wir gleich mal

Auch bei uns regnet es schon den ganzen Tag. Macht nix, lieber jetzt als in 14 Tagen !!!!

Wir haben bestimmt keine Probleme, uns zu erkennen. Der suchende Blick allein.... jedenfalls hatten wir noch nie ein Erkennungszeichen, aber wenn jemand eine Idee hat, nur zu !

Allen trotzdem ein noch ein schönes WE. Heute in 2 Wochen sind wir hoffentlich bei schönem Wetter unterwegs

meine Schwester wohnt mit ihrem Mann in TANN und Mutter ist vor einigen Jahren aus dem Rheinland dorthin gezogen. Wir waren wieder übers lange WE da und es war lausig kalt (Nachtfrost !!) Da haben wir es am Niederrhein doch etwas wärmer...

Hat schon jemand die Papiere bekommen ???? Das ist doch immer das Zeichen, dass es wirklich bald losgeht...

heute in 3 Wochen sind wir in Norwegen !!!

nein, natürlich werdet ihr nicht allein beim Treffpunkt sein. Wir sind doch auch dabei (es sei denn, die gebuchte Küchenführung ist ausgerechnet um 11.00 h )

wir scheinen das Schiffchen ja wirklich für uns allein zu haben. Macht nicht, haben wir eben viel Platz. Lese immer aufmerksam, ob die cara die NOK Passage fährt. bis jetzt läuft es ja reibungslos.

wir haben das lange Wochenende in der Rhön verbracht und bei meiner Mutter schon mal die Sachen für den Koffer sortiert. Sie ist schon ganz uffgeregt, obwohl es ihre 3. Reise wird. seit ich sie vor 2 Jahren das erste Mal mitgenommen habe, ist sie AIDA süchtig.

auf jeden Fall zählt sich auch schon die Tage, bis es wieder heißt: SIE HABEN URLAUB !!!
