Freunde von uns kamen letzte Woche aus ihrem Ägyptenurlaub zurück, es war alles iO. bei denen zumindest gab es zu keiner Zeit Bedenken dort hin zu fliegen. (nach Sharm el Sheik). aber bis 12.11. ist ja noch en bissl. bin da optimistisch.

Hotel hatten wir auch überlegt.aber da Samstag vom Karnevalsverein Prinzenproklamation ist mit anschließender Feier in den 11.11. wird das eine lange Nacht . hab auch noch Schicht hinter der Bar und somit ist dann sonntags Ausschlafen angesagt . deswegen fahren wir dann mit dem letztmöglichen Zug. wir warten dann mit ner Flasche Sekt beim Check-in Schalter auf euch.

und: wir schließen uns dem Ausflug in Cochin an. somit sind wir quasi das fehlende Pärchen was für diesen Ausflug noch gefehlt hat

wer fliegt denn alles ab Köln um 7 Uhr? wir müssen uns schon ab 2:30 Uhr am Flughafen rumdücken,wegen der tollen Zugverbindung. (wir können nicht mit dem Auto fahren, da der Rückflug nach Frankfurt geht)

habe in einem anderen Thread gelesen, dass bei selbstorganisierten Ausflügen die Reisepässe immer dabei sein sollten?weiß jemand was darüber?

vorläufige Liste. habe noch mal eine mail geschrieben, dass wir bereits um 18 Uhr ablegen und den Ausflug gerne früher machen würden. (der arme Deepa,der ist bestimmt schon total genervt von mir) . und ob wir eventl auf der Rückfahrt noch am Strand anhalten können (Fotostop)

was die Ausflugsplanung Mumbai angeht, die Elefantahöhle wird im AIDA Ausflug mit 5 Stunden angesetzt, weil die Bootsüberfahrt schon 1:20 Std. dauert. das fällt dann wg Zeitmangels wohl eher weg.

hier mal eine Zusammenfassung der Ausflüge, was besichtigt wird, wenn wir über AIDA buchen würden:

ich könnte einfach mal alles hinmailen und gucken,was zeitlich machbar ist? was meint ihr? laut Wikipedia liegen viele Sehenswürdigkeiten beieinander.

hier einige Ideen, die ein Mitreisender in einem anderem Thread gepostet hat:
1. Programmpunkt: Gateway of India und Taj Mahl Hotel (Aufenthalt ca. 20 Minuten, Sicherheitskontrolle vor Betreten des Platzes, aber nur proformerhalber...) Schon morgens um 10 Uhr kämpten wir mit Temperaturen um die 30 Grad, später sollten es bis zu 38 Grad werden.
2. Besichtigung Victoria-Staion (auch drinnen, aber keine Fotos erlaubt, Polisten achten penibel darauf)
3. Besuch des Crawford-Marktes (Gemüse, Obst, Krimskram, teilweise Gewürze und Tiere etc im Angebot)
4. Besuch des Mahatma-Ghandi Museums. Ausführliche Erklärungen unserer Reiseleiterin.
5. Besichtigung eines Jain-Tempel (sehr schön, Fotos auch im Tempel erlaubt)
6. Mittagessen in einem Restaurant (gehobene Klasse). Vegetarisch (teils natürlich scharfe Soßen, obwohl laut Guide die schärfe was für 5-Jährige Kinder wäre). Sehr umfangreiches Angebot. Sehr lecker.
7. Hanging Gardens: Hägende Gärten, schöner Park auf einem Hügel, allerdings unfassbar heiß, da kein Schatten.
8. Fahrt auf dem Marine Drive entlang des Stadtstrandes von Mumbai
9. Blick auf Dhobi Ghat (Freluftwäscherei). Nur kurzer Fotostop
10.Möglichkeit zum Shoppen in der Nähe des Hafens, aber nach kurzer Absprache lieber direkte Rückfahrt zum Schiff.

habe angefragt wg dem Elefantencamp in Cochin, da ist Abfahrt schon um 6:30 Uhr, unser Schiff legt aber erst um 8 Uhr an...und dann sind wir ja noch nicht direkt von Bord. er meldet sich noch mal, ob auch eine spätere Zeit geht.
wg Bezahlung habe ich auch gefragt. (falls nur Rupien geht, können wir uns zu einer Wechselstube fahren lassen und müssen nicht am Hafen Schlange stehen)
würde sagen, sobald er geantwortet hat, beginnen wir mit der Liste für Mormugao und Cochin. New Mangalore bieten sie nicht an.

Spice Plantation and elephants
What this tour is about:This is a relaxed day out at a local spice plantation, with an opportunity for both children and adults to interact with elephants.
In this tour, we will pick you up from the docks/your hotel and take you to visit a spice plantation in Ponda (about 30kms south-east of Panjim).

The various spices grown here include Black pepper Cardamom, Nutmeg, Vanilla, Cinnamon, Cloves, Chillies, Coriander, etc. The staff at the plantation will take you around and give you an introduction to these various spices. You will also see Goa's typical tropical trees like Cashew, Areca nut (Betel nut) and palm trees. Tropical Fruit like Star fruit, Jack Fruit, Custard Apple, Bananas, Papayas, Pineapple and Citrus Fruits are also seen. Various local birds are also sighted at the plantation.
The plantation also offers elephant rides and elephant bathing.

This area of Goa also has many temples, so if you are interested you can visit the Mangeshi Temple (please dress modestly for temple visits).

How it works:Starting and ending from the docks
After lunch leave ship at 14:00 p.m.
Drive 1 hr 15 mins to spice plantation

In these tours, there are no hard and fast rules about what you can do. People usually just tell the guides their interests, or some specific places they want to see, and the guides fit them into the available time. We get all sorts of requests - people want to try fast food or other cuisines, culture and religion tours, bazaar walks, visits to people's homes, slum tours, train rides, bus rides, flea markets, Jewish heritage tours, shopping for specific things, tailoring, art galleries and museums...I run a personalized tour service that accommodates all these things. In fact, you'll probably end up doing and seeing more than what you thought you could accomplish. The tours last 6-8 hours per day depending on your interest and level of tiredness.

habe für Mumbai nach einem individuellen Ausflug gefragt mit Sehenswürdigkeiten, Andenken kaufen und Mittagessen. denke, die wissen mittlerweile was wir Touris gerne sehen wollen
sobald die "Liste" da ist, können wir uns überlegen, ob das so o.k. ist, wir was austauschen wollen ect. und ob wir das überhaupt machen.
habe auch gefragt, wie viele Leute wir sein müssen.
und für Mormugao habe ich nach Elefantenreiten gefragt, denn das steht auch ganz oben auf meiner unbedingt-erleben-Liste
