Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, parent company of Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, provided this statement:
"We are incredibly saddened to learn of the events in Nice, and share our deepest sympathies with all those affected by this devastating tragedy. We are providing support and assistance to our corporate team members, shipboard staff and guests with loved ones in and around Nice. Ships from the NCLH fleet were not operating tours to Nice at the time of the incident.
"At all three NCLH brands, the safety and security of our guests and crew is paramount. Out of an abundance of caution, we have suspended all shore excursions to Nice and implemented enhanced security measures for all ships operating in French ports."
In addition, MSC Cruises confirmed to Travel Agent Central that it will provide guests who have booked upcoming Nice shore excursions with the chance to either cancel or pick another excursion.
