Ich habe eben noch einen privaten Anbieter in Bar Harbor an geschrieben und folgende Tourvorschläge erhalten:
We would love to show you Acadia National Park and our island! We will pick you up from your ship or hotel and we’ll drive along the 27-mile long Park Loop Road up to the summit of Cadillac Mountain, the highest peak on the eastern seaboard and the first place daylight hits each morning in North America. From Cadillac you can see spectacular views of Bar Harbor, the surrounding islands and the visiting cruise ships
Visit all of the famous sites, including Sand Beach, Thunder Hole, Otter Cliffs, Precipice Cliffs, Sieur de Monts Springs and gardens, and Jordan Pond House. We can stop and stay as long as you would like at each location. As you wind through the park you will see hand-cut stone bridges, rocky coves and pink granite coastline, glacier cut lakes and dense forests.
You can see all of the above in approximately 3 hours.
You may also choose to see the famous Asticou and Thuya Gardens and the only fjord on the east coast, Somes Sound. All of these places are not accessible to bus tours. View the outsides of the mansions of Bar Harbor, Seal Harbor and Northeast Harbor.
This would add another hour for a 4 hour tour.
We can also visit the Southwest Harbor side of the island and see a working lobster pound watching the boats come and go. We could then continue on to see the only lighthouse on the island, the Bass Harbor Headlight and a natural seawall. (lunch is available on your own at the lobster pound).
All of the above would be a 5 hour tour.
If you have a special place you would like to see let us know, we will be happy to take you there. Our drivers narrate the tours with history and facts about the area, spiced up with local tales you won’t hear anywhere else.
We have 6 passenger vans that are $80 per hour and SUVs that are $100 an hour. We pick you up right where you disembark or from your hotel with your name on a sign. All tours are private to the group booking the tour, we do not put groups together.
Acadia National Park entrance fee of $25 per 6 passenger vehicle is not included in the fare and is subject to change without notice. Senior park passes are not accepted on tours.You may pay the driver after the tour with any major credit card or cash.

Wir reisen ja von Montreal ab,der Flug geht um 19.25 Uhr. Jetzt ist die frage ob man am letzten Tag den Ausflug nach Ottawa mit ende Flughafen macht.Oder ob man den lieber am ersten Tag macht.Kann mit da jemand Tipps geben.Ich weiß ja auch nicht wie lange man am Abreisetag auf dem Schiff bleiben darf.

Wir werden am letzten Tag den Ausflug "Highlights von Montreal" machen mit Ende Flughafen. Unser Flug geht um 1800 nach Frankfurt und dann weiter nach Wien.
Übrigens ich plane ein Fantreffen zu organisieren. Möchte aber erstmal ausloten wer alles mitmacht. In der FB Gruppe sind wir derzeit 34 Personen. Ich möchte zumindest auf 20 Personen fürs Fantreffen kommen.
Also wer hat dazu Lust von Euch?
